Supports Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Rebukes Florida’s Public Servants for Placing Illegal Aliens Ahead of Citizens
The Remembrance Project has followed the developments in Florida’s state legislature and supports Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ common sense proposals to secure Florida and America’s sovereignty by restoring the Rule of Law.
We applaud Governor DeSantis for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with President Donald Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which will expand Florida’s 287g agreements to enable state and local law enforcement to cooperate with President Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan to keep Floridians and all Americans safe.
In an unprecedented maneuver and in not in the best of Floridians, State Senate President Ben Albritton and House Speaker Daniel Perez opposed Governor DeSantis’ efforts. In DeSantis words they “decimated” the bill that would have secured Florida’s sovereignty, ended in-state tuition for illegal aliens, ended catch and release, ended taxpayer-funded subsidies for illegal aliens, and would have been key in saving the lives of Floridians by getting illegal aliens who drive drunk off the road. Governor DeSantis stated, “this will virtually make Florida a sanctuary state!”
Maria Espinoza, National Spokesperson for The Remembrance Project joined Governor Ro DeSantis in denounced this unprecedented and surprising maneuver stating: “The actions of Florida Senate President Ben Albritton and House Speaker Daniel Perez have made it clear that they do not have the best interests or the safety of Citizens in mind.
Citizens are fed up with public servants who ignore their duties to serve We the People instead of serving themselves and the open-border special interest lobby! No matter where one resides, these ‘public servants’ must be reminded for whom they work. They must not get away with legislating for the benefit of illegal aliens.
